Thank you for addressing this question.
I've checked, Questrade's equities are indeed ECN, but Forex is a Dealing Desk.
Thanks for finding this mistake of mine. I'm now on verifying PFGBEST's statement.
I greatly appreciate your help!

I called ATCBrokers ... they do NOT do customer to customer matching of orders. They are just a front for FXCM.

ATCBrokers were an IB for Hotspot, which was ECN. Hotspot has recently transferred all retail clients to FXCM and focused on institutional services. FXCM is an STP, but I guess ATC brokers saved relationships with HotSpot.
Thank you once again. If you find anything else, I'd love to hear your updates!

No problem. Let me know about PFGBEST. I really pushed them on this question, and they assured me that they definitely don't do customer to customer matching.

Latest from PFGBEST:
"While the platform is ECN, the trades are matched against prime banks like Goldman Sachs, ABN Amro, and JP Morgan Chase. This allows us to offer better liquidity than customer-to-customer matching.
Our dealing desk is execution only, so there's no dealer monitoring customer trades and determining mark-ups on the trades before we process them. We keep this dealing desk just in case clients have an emergency and need to place a trade/cover a position, or prefer to deal with the desk rather than the electronic platform."

Does anyone know about any UK forex platform in good reputation? Better ECN/STP, someone said the forex dealers in UK are well regulated.

Hi trader,
UK or Switzerland brokers not always the best choices. An example ACM, they are a swiss broker & regulated as well...But now, they suspect in fraud...!!!

All I can say is the brokers that don't make the minimum N FA standards are gone anyway,so look into their net assets, this should be with any broker anyway.

Hello, broker guru, tadawul fx is listed as an stp(which got me interested in them). but here is what i found on page 5 of their account opening form, under the heading 'general risk disclosure':
item 5:'A Bank or Broker through whom TADAWUL FX LTD. deals or TADAWUL FX LTD. itself may act
in the same market as you, its own account involvement could be contrary to your interests.
item 6:'The insolvency of TADAWUL FX LTD. or of a Bank or Broker used by TADAWUL FX LTD. to
effect its transactions may lead to your positions being closed out against your wishes.
7. The Customer is hereby advised that the transactions undertaken through the dealing services
of TADAWUL FX LTD. may be of a speculative nature. Large losses may occur in a short period
of time, equaling the total of funds deposited with TADAWUL FX LTD.
pls broker guru am a new trader so i just want your opinion. these statements are making me believe that tadawul is a market maker. what do you think?
