ECN Forex Brokers

(No Dealing Desk + STP + ECN)

*To be able to compare commission rates, we list them all as "Commission per round turn (100K)",

But there are different ways of listing commission rates:

Example: $6.00 per round turn lot (100k) = $3.00 per side (100k) or $3.00 per 100K USD traded = $30.00 per million USD traded or $60.00 per million USD traded round turn = 0.006% of the trade

One is sure, it doesn't matter what kind of brokerage all are unethical. They are propelled by the same greed like the whole Wall Street. Just bunch of cockroaches. What they do is legal crime.

Hallo Broker Guru,Please can you analyse: www.ampforex.com ,how serious is that broker..is it regulated..thank you

Forex.com acts as the clearing agent and counterparty to customers margined forex transactions introduced by Amp Forex.

AMP is an IB or a white label for Forex.com

Haven't found any information about their regulations. They are an STP or a MM.

Great site BG, Thank you!

Does anyone here from British Columbia Canada have an STP/NDD Broker serving BC clients? or a link to a list?
Thanks.

Also, does this forum have a search function? :)

Regarding BC clients & brokers question, sorry, don't know.
A simple search function - yes - right sidebar, bottom. We need a better one, which is on the list.

Hi,
I really appreciate the authors of this site. It really opened my eyes and gave me a second chance to pick a new broker cos i'd never i was with a market maker all this while.
But i'm a bit confused on which to pick after screening the following i think are good ECN/STP

ATC Brokers *(Startup capital a bit high for ECN Acct but i dont mind if they're reliable)

MB Trading *(My country NIGERIA is not listed amongst the eligible countries else its affordable for me. They stated other countries might be included after a review which i believe would or might not happen)

Dukascopy *(Startup capital but i dont mind if they're reliable)

FXOpen *(I heard a lot of complaints on withdrawal issues and possible tricks or scams with them. The capital is quite ok)

I would be grateful if anyone has any experience with them to advice as per the strength of their regulation, services and affordable capital or anyother ECN/STP that is affordable and reliable

Thanks and keep it up

Broker Guru! How to determine a pure STP broker? How about broker that offer cents account with 0.01 - 0.05 - 8.0 of volume? How could Interbank accepted smaller volume orders?

There are no ways for a trader to determine whether the broker is STP or a Market maker.
...Unless a trader really feels he's been put on a manual execution, which starts to seriously affect his trading (delays, re-quotes, slippage, which weren't present with the broker in the past.)

An STP broker may offset some low volume trades using their dealing desk, which is fine, as long as traders can trade smoothly.
If the volume is really low, it might not be convenient or possible for STP to merge all the incoming orders in order to send them to the real market.

Trader, if an ecn broker allows trading below 10,000 units, I'd be very weary. Most (if not all) banks will only allow 10k units due to transaction costs. All true ecn with stp will charge commissions on your trades (not spread only).

Yes, Commission are a big point. But for example: if you choose Dukascopy as your ECN Broker you can open your account with molecule6 and get so 45% of your commission fees back, whats turning the commission to a fair low price.
