ECN Forex Brokers
(No Dealing Desk + STP + ECN)
*To be able to compare commission rates, we list them all as "Commission per round turn (100K)",
But there are different ways of listing commission rates:
Example: $6.00 per round turn lot (100k) = $3.00 per side (100k) or $3.00 per 100K USD traded = $30.00 per million USD traded or $60.00 per million USD traded round turn = 0.006% of the trade

February 19, 2010Hi,
Please can somebody recommend a regulated reputable (trully) non USA based MT4 ECN/STP broker that he or she have personally used and which accept any (e.g. scalper, hedging etc.) EA`s. At least a minimum of $250 to open an account. If it is not allowed on this forum to recommend these brokers please email me at iiedet.edet[]gmail.com with subject :ECN/STP brokers.
Thanks

February 21, 2010Hi Broker Guru,
Are there a list of brokers that put your account in a separate account, as oppose to put all the incoming funds into a common pot, and the "account" you get, is only be the brokers webpage that he is giving you?
Heard that Chicago Merchantile Exchange are doing Forex but only for the "big" guys, (funds etc) , do they have something for the little guy?
Can you please explain for me, Non Dealing Brokers are suppose to be an inbetween man only, and instead of spread take a small fee for each transaction.
Still in the advertisments I read, they are only talking about how much spread they have.
Are there any true Non Dealing Brokers that only takes a small fee for each transaction.
I am trying to calculate the point in where, how much of trading, and what size of trading , will be more cost effective by using fee only Non Dealing Broker.
Lets say for the sake of the argument, that a person is a very successful trader and his account will grow to bigger sums.
One school says to diversify between brokers in order to keep your funds safe, in case of one broker going down the tubes, but that would be very impractical.
What does the "big guys" do?
I am sure they don't split up their trillions into all existing broker companies accounts.
What would be a good way to go if you want to:
1. Stay with one account, no matter how big it may become.
2. Have an account that always will guarantee the whole amount of deposits in that account, not only partial amount.
3. Have a broker that is a Non Dealing broker, that truly only takes a fee, an takes no spread.

February 23, 2010Hi, I sent an email to Ikon Global Markets in which I was askinh them about fees and charges.
They wrote: "We do not have any extra commission beside spread." So I think this broker shouldn't be on the ECN brokers list.
They also wrote their spreads start from as low as 1-2 pips on regular market times.
Btw, this is my favorite broker guide page, thank you for your work, BrokerGuru!

February 23, 2010Hi, IKON Global Markets shouldn't be on the ECN brokers list, I emailed with them and they said:
"Thank you for your interest in IKON Global Markets. We do not have any extra commission beside spread.
Spread varies depending on market conditions. Major start from as low as 1-2 pips on regular market times."
ECN broker without commission fee? No way.
Also I contacted with ForInvest Group, because they doesn't have any information about swap-free account charges on their webpage.
They wrote:
"Please be advised that in case of a Swap-Free Account,
Commission charged is $0.0 up to $10.0.
Upon account activity."
That's all, I hope these infos are useful.
And thank you for your work, BrokerGuru :)

February 23, 2010That was useful, thank you!
Ikon Global all these years has been known primarily as a market maker, but they do have now an ECN account, which you can read about here: http://www.ikongm.com/Products.aspx?section=Ikon_Viking
With this account there is a commission.

February 26, 2010I can't confirm so far for a simple reason: this broker has never replied to my emails neither few months ago, nor this time. I'll keep on trying other ways to communicate with them, and come with the update as soon as I know the facts.
Update: got information, MoneyCorp Markets claim to be ECN and don't trade against its clients.
