ECN Forex Brokers
(No Dealing Desk + STP + ECN)
*To be able to compare commission rates, we list them all as "Commission per round turn (100K)",
But there are different ways of listing commission rates:
Example: $6.00 per round turn lot (100k) = $3.00 per side (100k) or $3.00 per 100K USD traded = $30.00 per million USD traded or $60.00 per million USD traded round turn = 0.006% of the trade

July 5, 2009Hello BG!
Thank you so much for putting together this list but I have one question here. I checked every single broker that is inlisted in the list and out of all of them only 3 brokers are registered!!!!!!!
I'm extremely surprised! If those brokers are ECN/STP honest guys, why they don't get themselves registered with the Commission?
Thanks, your answer will be appreciated. I do not think that anyone on this website would use the broker just because it says on their website that they are honest ECN. They are not registered!!! Hello??!! We should not be even talking about them as such!!!

July 6, 2009I'm interested in PFGBest. I understand it is an ECN broker so it charges commission. Anyone here has experience with PFGBest? How much is their commission fee?
Since they charge commission while I plan to do the trading using a robot scalping method, will I end up without profit because needs to pay the commissions?

July 6, 2009Hi Trader! It's a Trader replying you that wrote my comments just above yours regarding ECN brokers. I never had the experience with PFGBest broker, but look here: http://www.nfa.futures.org/basicnet/Arbitration.aspx?entityid=0232217&ca....
This is the official website of NFA and this company officially has compaints already from such traders as we are and other companies about their dishonest activity. Mind you that on the website only official complaints have been recorded, those that people went ahead to sue the company. So, I can imagine how many complaints from such simple traders as we are are there???!!!
I am also looking for appropriate ECN broker and cannot find it. Those that are mentioned in the list almost all of them are not even registered with NFA... Any ideas?

July 9, 2009Hi BG, FaaaaAA Nntastic work Sir.
Can you comment bit more about Broco.
How the hell are they able to offer zero spread on CFD. Cuz im confused after using thier Broco Trader platform, is that futures quotes or
CFD instrument. Plus they pay back IB's 8USD back that mean that mean its only costing them 2USD per lot(if it is CFD) and if
in any case is futures then 2USD does not even covers the exchange prices. How do they pull this off, please explain cuz i fail to
reconize this.
And if their spreads are fixed then how come their in the NDD/STP/ECN section on your site.
Im thinking of acquiring a whitelabel with them they wont comment to me cuz we are already in negotiation. But it be a great help if you find out something or something extra that im missing out.
AND to follow up on ACM, their website recently comments that they have failed their banking license. Plus lately their spreads have been varying quite often, probably due to low liquidity. So should we start worrying at the moment.
Another broker i would like you to share your comments on is EXTO Capital.
Thanks for the relentless work that you started here, i guess now we wud never let you rest ;) TAKECARE!

July 9, 2009Among ECN brokers some might be simply Introducing brokers for other ECNs, those IBs are rarely registered, with some exception.
Other ECN brokers, if they are outside US, don't need to register with CFTC or NFA, they register with their local regulatory bodies.
If an ECN is not registered at all, you know what to do... As it's been said: "what transparency and honesty are we talking about?"
The claims regarding the case against PFGBest (from the NFA link above) were actually dismissed according to the Summary on that page.
Regarding the commission and scalping question: calculate the cost of commission in pips and then figure out whether spread + commission with ECN broker will be less expensive than just a spread and no commission with any other broker.
...A lot of work ahead to comment the last post about Broco, ACM and EXTO Capital, I'll touch the topic soon.

July 9, 2009Hi all!
I noticed that FXCBS hasn't been mentioned yet in this thread, so I would like to know what people think about them and if you would please share any experiences? The makers of FAPTurbo endorse them as a true ECN, however they get a lot of flack for being relatively new and not regulated...yet.
Thanks,
-Ben

July 10, 2009Hello BG,
Just a slight correction on my last comment about ACM's banking licesenced. Yes yes i know Ma BAd! ACM on their site qouted " ACM has filed for Banking license" which i wrongly read and thought it said FAILED instead. :) what can i do it moved so fast. But yes the rest about Broco (and plz use their Broco trader platform, perticularly check CFD Currencies) and exto about their repo and about their regulator is its a safe to invest with them. Similarily same about regulation with broco. I mean regulatory body of mauritius is it safe, will a complaint be presued by action.

July 10, 2009Ok, as you know I've got nothing for or against any of the brokers, nor can I be an insurer of the safety of your funds with any of the brokers. The website policy allows keeping a neutral position only, which I strictly follow. I would, however, happily confirm/disprove any facts about any broker as well as be glad to find out any additional info.
Broco spreads vary at Broco Investor and Strategy Runner package.
I'm not sure about their CFD/Futures quotes you've seen, I'll look for an additional clarification and let you know.
Update: we're talking about CFD on Futures. (http://www.brocompany.com/trading-platform/broco-trader/cfd-on-futures/)
The spread is indeed 0 pips, you only have to pay the commission.
Broco operates as a group of companies: in Russia they operate as Broco Invest, fully licensed under the Russian Federation law.
In the world they are known as Broco Investments with company address in Mauritius and a Global Business License of FSC of Mauritius (I know nothing about Mauritius regulation, but here is the link to FSC). Under sole initiative of Broco company, all client deposits are additionally insured by Russian insurance company Ingosstrakh. Broco looks transparent about their regulatory bodies and protection of client funds.
With ACM it is clear now, they are doing fine :)
EXTO Capital receives an overall positive feedback among traders. Some order slippage has been recorded, despite opposite claims on broker's website, as well as some troubles with order fills during news releases. Other than that it is a broker with your average fixed spread of 2 pips on EURUSD and willingness to do good job by offering No dealing desk and fast execution. They are not however Swiss based as it may appear on a quick look, but rather incorporated in British Virgin Islands, and is regulated by local FSC.
You've got to trade with a broker to be able to evaluate it properly. So far no complaints.
FXCBS is relatively new - since 2007, is based in United Arab Emirates. FXCBS is regulated by ESCA (Emirates Securities & Commodities Authority), DMCC (Dubai Multi Commodities Centre) and is a Member of DGCX (Dubai Gold & Commodities Exchange).
They are true ECN with very competitive trading conditions. I've received quick and competent support regarding all my questions with them.
From traders' feedback, their order execution is good and spread quotes are very low. So far no complaints.
