How can anybody recommend FXCM, being that this Company is known for terrible service and straight-out SCAM, the worst company on the face of the forex world, is being penalized with $2,000,000 by the regulator authorities because FXCM are found guilty of theft and scam

can we please add a regulator column to this list... many of these are unregulated and straight up scams.... one of the reasons they present themselves as swap free is because they can since they are scams

Thank you for your feedback!

Regulation is certainly an important factor, but not the only one for many traders, and we can't include everything. So, let's keep it about swap-free accounts, while it would be easier to apply further filters in the Search:
http://www.100forexbrokers.com/fx/broker_search.php

Where you can add:
- Swap=free accounts "Yes"
- Regulation "Is regulated"

and any other parameters you want, such as the minimum deposit, leverage etc.

Hi BG,

I am so glad I came to your website. I am a muslim and looking to open a swap free account as I trade long term and want to avoid receiving or paying interest/swap rollover fee.

I have been told that all brokers who offer swap free accounts are market makers i.e. they trade against you and you will have problems with them if you make a lot of profit. Is that true? The argument is that the swap fee is charged by the liquidity provider therefore ECN/STP/NDD brokers dont have any control over it.

Your opinion and help in this regard will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Best Regards,
Salman

Hi Salman,

sorry for the delay.
Yes, if you trade exceptionally well with a market maker, making them to lose money each time (since they trade against you), you might experience worsening of the trading conditions.

I haven't heard about the argument that swap is charged by the LPs, thus NDD brokers have no control over it...
Swap-free accounts are offered by STP brokers as well, not only Market makers. I think they are able to manage it somehow.
Try at least our search with the following parameters:
http://www.100forexbrokers.com/fx/broker_search.php
Broker type: "no dealing desk"
Swap-ree accounts: "yes"
