I have to say sth here.

First I'm new to forex and my friend introduced me to this broker. My account number is 32731.

At first, my account manager is so good and i felt like i was in heaven. But after i used this broker for a while, I saw many bad rating here and i was scared in some way that maybe it's very hard to make a withdrawal. So i requested a withdrawal by Liberty Reserve yesterday and their backoffice wanted me to provide the screenshot of my LR account. I sent them the screenshot this afternoon and within 1 HOUR(40min actually), i received the money.

The only disadvantage as far is that traders have to provide the proof of identity and residency. As in China, proof of residency isn't as usual as other foreign countries, so it took me some time to get this. But anyway, this procedure of validating the account is an reliable way to secure the fund safety.

In conclusion, i got an outstanding service and had super fast first withdrawal with this broker. I hope you can open an office in China so that more chinese traders can be your client.

Keep Good working.

Wallace

Dear Chris Zacharia,

First, I don't make any tactics, i just tell the truth according to my experience. and about the account balance, it's may you add it to my account after you read my blogs, it's just an amount and will not become withdrawable and it's the truth.

Second, Just re-read my blog carefully, i not say my friend deposit for $10k, but she plan to deposit $10k, and $2k at the first.

Third, I check my parter cabinet at the end of march 2012, i see nothing, it's not the same with the statement you said "Thirdly: Commissions in an account do not show automatically when a trade is executed the system updates every 24 hours with exclusion to weekends." From this case, now, i'am sure you are really SCAM!!! and please note, i have the "print screen" at end of march that show my cabinet still got nothing.

Fourth, I have no reason to make more argue about this, but i'am sure about my statement that my account manager have been changed.

Fifth, my friend come to me before make re-deposit, i just think i must not be selfish because of my problem with trading-point.com and i have a chance to retest trading-point for second time, and i let she to make redeposit to trading-point.com. and the result, you are true SCAM forex broker. and at the end of the day you have "BIG SMILE", got almost $5000 revenue without any payout. it's right?

Sixth, i will not make any apologize as you adviced, i very sure about my way. i not do any marketing activity that out of your affiliate term & agreement, it's true that i reffering 2 clients which are the same person, it's caused by your verification procedure for the first account, but it's not self refferal. if it's my own account, do you think i will make redeposit? i'am not too stupid to do that. lol

Summary:
I think you should revise your general ethical behavior before you come to trusted forex broker.
I consider your comments and practice, unacceptable, unethical and above all NON transparent.

Thank you.

Dear Mr. Wend,

Firstly I would very strictly advice that you should revise your tactic of making blogs with no reason especially when you are talking about issues which do NOT exist but are issues that have come under your perception due to lack of knowledge of how to use the partners program.

Firstly: You currently have a balance of $322 in your partners account.

Secondly: Your 2 referred parties are the same entity and have not deposited the amount of 10,000 USD but 2,000 USD.

Thirdly: Commissions in an account do not show automatically when a trade is executed the system updates every 24 hours with exclusion to weekends.

Fourthly: Your account manager was always Mrs. Sophie Zakrzewska and never changed. The welcome email from Mrs. Munoz is a courtesy email sent to all customers by Mrs. Munoz which is Mrs. Zakrzewska ‘s assistant.

In essence you have made an issue and argument about a NON existing case and you have even made a blog about something non existing.

Summary: Partner accounts do not update in real time, commissions from referred parties trading are calculated every 24 hours taking in to consideration many factors of the trading activity of a given day. A partner program that did not post your commissions in real time cannot and will not be tolerated to be addressed with the word “scam”.

In essence you have posted a comment and made a blog talking about something not accurate for a broker that will pay you commissions for your marketing activity? I think you should revise your general ethical behavior before you come to trusted websites and post comments that do not match reality.

I advise you follow up publically and apologize and additionaly remove your blog from the world wide web index as your clearly violating the terms and conditions of the program which you have enrolled which at the end of the day is paying you commissions for referring 2 clients which are the same person.

I consider your comments and practice, unacceptable, unethical and above all NON transparent.

Thank you,

Chris A. Zacharia – Official Representative of Trading Point of Financial Instruments Ltd.

Hi Chris,

Many thanks for your email and response here.

I would like to take back my review as I have realised my error. Yes, I am very new to Forex trading and I am happy to admit that I still have not understood the basics, therefore, my previous review is void and retracted!

I would like to add that the TP customer service is one of a kind! I spend 5 CONSECUTIVE HOURS speaking with customer services and another 3 consecutive hours the following day in "training" and learning the basics. Cant say much for other brokers ie AccentForex - waited 2 hours for a rep to connect with me in Live Chat and in the end, I just gave up!

One thing I would like to point out is instruments being quoted to 5 decimals. I know that before, TP had instruments quoted to 4 decimals so 1 pip would be 0.0001 (which is also 1 point). However, now that the 5 decimal quoting system has been introduced, 0.0001 turns into 0.00001 or 0.00010.

In finance, a percentage in point (pip) is the smallest commonly quoted change of an exchange rate of a currency pair so in other words, its the smallest price change that a given exchange rate can make - so if the instrument is now 0.00001, isn't that the new definition of a pip? Technically, there is no such thing as a fraction of a pip!

For example, if I trade 1 standard lot and make a profit of 20 pips, that would imply a profit of 20. But according to the fractional pip evaluation, I would make a profit of 2 pips which is not the case. A change of 0.00001 would bring a change of 1 just as a change of 0.00020 would bring a change of 20 for 1 lot trade.

I now realise its just a "marketing term" but nevertheless, Im learning which is the main important thing! :)

Warm regards,
Sam

Dear Sam,

Thank you for your review and additionally thank you for noting the Pro’s of Trading Point however it seems you have a wrong understanding of trading terms and policies which have caused your worries about what you have noted as cons above.

Firstly on the representation you show on EURUSD spread is 2.5 pips and not 25 pips which is totally Impossible at this particular time in time. Please note that spreads at Trading Point are quoted on the 5th decimal place and are additionally variable according to market liquidity therefore averaging at 1.9 pips and going as low as 1 pip at very liquid times.

"Sell" orders are being opened at "bid" price and closed at "ask" price , "buy" orders being opened at "ask" price and closed at "bid" price.

On the chart you can see the graphical representation of the " bid" price .In order to display the "ask" line you need to right click on chart go properties/common and "tick" the "show ask line" option (please make sure that color settings of ask line need to be different that the color of background).

With regards to your screen shot which you uploaded and I have made some notes on an re-uploaded here http://www.trading-point.com/images/TP-screen.png I would like to point that the "ask" price (closing price of "sell"orders ) at that moment (20:27:51) was 1.32380 the "bid" price at that moment was 1.32357.

Your take profit of that specific order has been set at 1.32360 , therefore , it should trigger when "ask" price reaches that level.

That happened at few minutes later (20:40:58) the "bid" price reached 1.32335 and "ask" price reached 1.32358 , first time crossed your T/P level (1.32360) and ,as result the trade has been closed.

As for the stop/limit levels , please note that those are specific to all the instruments and are noted here --> http://www.trading-point.com/download/docs/spreads-micro.pdf ,EUR/USD is set up at 40points (4 pips) , which is twice an average spread on this instrument.

I hope all the above has cleared things for you, if you might need additional help or clarifications in regards to online trading, forex or the MT4 platform you can contact me directly at chris@trading-point.com and I will be glad to arrange a session with one of our account managers before you decide to start trading with real money.

I would advice you take the time to understand the basics of forex trading to avoid any future problems and possible losses with real funds.

Regards,

Chris A. Zacharia - Official Representative of Trading Point of Financial Instruments Ltd.

Absolutely one of the best brokers anywhere. I always receive top notch support via the online chat and have not once in my nearly two years of trading with them seen a re-quote. I left FXDD to join them and it was the best move I've made as far as being an investor is concerned. Go to the site read the info and rest assure that it's all true and accurate. As the posters before me have indicated. I'm very pleased with my broker.

Ive been trying to find a good broker with MT4 platform and had done alot of reasearch/read alot of reviews. Out of all of the MT4 brokers I came across, TP appeared to have the best ratings so decided to open a demo account to get more accustomed to MT4. Even though I havent been trading in the industry for very long, Ive done extensive research on trends, markets, indicators etc and I also have accounts with other brokers it Option Bit, eToro.

PROs:
Operators at live chat are very helpful and supportive.
No requotes/slippage.

CONs:
Wide spreads (EURUSD is 25 pips!)
SL and TP have to differ from market price by AT LEAST 40 pips (is this normal???)
Orders dont close as they should.

Eg
Put in an order to SELL EURUSD
Executed @ 1.32396
SL @ 1.32441
TP @ 1.32360

The market price went past my TP TWICE and my order was still active. I have a screen shot here (look at the last 3 candles:

This was the SECOND time this happened! First time round, my order closed when prices closed past my TP and then started to increase.

Very disappointed but Im fortunate I didnt loose out on any real money!

Without bias, the execution speeds are without comparison! Click of the button, no requotes and they do have a prompt back office team....i guess the best thing that one can do is give them a shot - results should make you MOVE from your current broker :)

Forex is all about results...trading point is a good bargain!
