This trader suffers from poor communication, examples of this as follows
1) They failed to communicate "planned downtime", granted this was on a Sunday before markets opened but I needed access before markets opened to enter them into my P&L planner.
2) They failed to communicate that they will be closed on the 1st January, whilst the markets are open... this means no one on the etoro platform can make or alter any trades and SL/TP will be ignored.
The copytrader feature is also full of bugs
1) Stoplosses are often hit from copied trades, despite the original trades still being open as the trader altered the SL prior to it being surpassed.
2) Trades are often missed.... full stop
3) If you copy a trader, who then copies someone else, they system will execute the trades from both traders for you (good), but if any of the above 2 points happens etoro won't support you/refund your losses

They claim to be regulated broker but it's a lie. Further, you can find only negative reviews over the web. Go to
http://www.forexpeacearmy.com/public/review/www.etoro.com and you'll see a lot of fake reviews posted by etoro-related personel. Their platform has no professional features, they don't support MT4, and when you need support, you are obligated to talk with a bot (if you insist it will transfer you to a human operator, who's unqualified to answer your questions as well).
Definitely not the right place to put your hard earned bucks.

I started with etoro 3 months a go, at the beggining it was fine even loosing was reasonable I did not have experience, than I felt they are controling my account every move, something fishy was going on, customer service has little or no knowledge about your question and they try to get ride of you if they can answer or send you to account manger with email which is not acceptable, so far I lost a lot and I don't know what is going on, not happy.

Have always received money withdrawn without any problems.
Execution is good, depending on volatility.
For a past June and August around any valuable news events they been freezing the rates, so orders, take profits, stop loss does not get executed. If you are in the trade already it wont let you get out, until they unfreeze the rates. So for news they are no good, otherwise they are reliable.
Would give 4-5 star if news worked.

Watch out guys , this Etoro company is pure scam , on 4 june 2010 i opened a sell trade on the Eur/Usd at 1.2078 and suddenly it jumped up almost 40 pips and hit my stop loss at 1.2114 , with no reason and i checked on every other platform it never happened , what happened is that it went down alot where i would have made a great profit on it..and when i contacted them they said sorry they had a technical problem on the platform and that they will refund me the money , and after 10 days i contacted them again , what they say now is that they will compensate me for only $870 dollars...well im not leaving them and i will issue complains to the CYSEC and every regulation they are under...
SO PLEASE GUYS WATCH IT CAUSE THEY ARE PURE SCAM

Tried demo for a month with this Broker
Stay away, tried demo for a month, kept freezing/lagging/disconnecting & high spreads (cost lots)
also heard from others that they actualy made $ on etoro but when they tried to take $ out etoro wouldn't give it to them & said they broke contract & that now they owe etoro 10,000.
also heard lots of people(asides from me) in the etoro chat saying bad things about them.
@ the end of the month trial i just used etoro for the chat they have but after a week of warning people how much they suck not to put real $ in they blocked my chat (i can still watch the chat & still type but nobody replies not even my friends).
