Pros:
The Support is really good. they answer quickly the questions. excellent.
As of today, I didn't suffer any trading surprise. no off quotes, no requotes.
But the order execution time is not the best I have seen, they have an average of 900ms (from home or the VPS)
The spread appeared to be good all the time, but I didn't check it all the time too....
You can open multiple accounts and the web interface to access the account info is good.
They offer some trading tools to help the beginners like trading central.

Cons:
* US constaint: no hedging; So this reduces the trading options
* leverage of only 1:50 no matter the account size, not possible to change it.
* no gold / silver trading offered
* "free" VPS service is to prohibit!!! they use a linux based VM system which doesn't support some EA and only accessible through a bad java based interface. and there is no performance advantage from a processing time, from my home I have the same processing time. and I can have only 1 MT4 running.

For info the VPS provider is GallantVPS. the support is average here.

So the broker is good and professional. The support is excellent. But for the VPS, use another provider! (with a full remote access and support for multiple MT4 instances)
in a month or 2 I will be able to confirm how this broker is finally.

No problems with withdrawals, no issues while trading (I use limit orders, and get filled without requotes every time).

Spreads are okay, during news you should not trade though, not with market orders for sure! That's a problem with many brokers, unless you try ECN, but there you need deeper pockets :)

I used to have an EA and scalp, and it was ok too.
As for me, I like the fact that the broker is large and regulated.

I don't know if their live account is really any different from their demo account but....
17 pip spreads on EUR/USD. Up to 50-60 pip spreads on CHF.
Chart freezing on numerous occasions and even in high volatility.
Frequent requotes when you want to take a profit but never on a loss.
Parent company is in Russia.
They are a Market Maker in the USA branch
I won't be opening a live account with them. I'll use an ECN. I just have trouble with their spreads and delays. I don't feel that I can trust them.

This is my first real account in Forex with Alpari. They were very polite when I opened an account (i guess it is so everywhere for new customers). I'm currently 50/50 floating with my account, no loss and no profit either.
Tried one of the commercial scalping EAs for few days, it failed BIG TIME!!! While I later looked at the history - the spreads killed it.

Alpari spreads are high, order placement, requotes etc is average. I'm not giving any more stars, as I'm neutral at this point.

The only time you get a error in your commands,closing orders etc is when you are in profit. I've treid to close numerous winning trades big in my favor, they wont let you close it until you get back near break even,. Total thieves. Should be in jail.
