Hello BG,

On the MT4 ECN broker list, only two (FXOpen and Masterforex, as listed on the list of ECN brokers) are level 2 brokers. Does that mean that the rest don't really offer all of the advantages of true MT4 ECN trading?

Hi Henry,

All ECN brokers should provide so called Level 2 trading, e.g. a detailed information about the liquidity providers and market participants with their current interests in buying/selling certain currencies though bid/ask quotes.

Level 2 trading is an another way to describe pure ECN trading technology.
On the ECN brokers page we've indicated "Level 2" for certain brokers in order to draw trades attention to the fact that not all accounts have ECN trading conditions, e.g. a broker also offers Dealing desk trading though smaller/other accounts.

MT4 ECN bridge is not only for Institutional accounts, but for all account types.

Can you please tell me is "Think Forex" a true ECN Broker? Because they claim to be on their website also offering free VPS.

Think Forex claims to be an ECN, yes.
To be able to use their VPS services, one should open a $500 trading account or higher.
