Below is the list of brokers who offer MT4 ECN trading.
Those Forex brokers may also offer other regular non-ECN accounts, please pay attention when choosing the right MT4 ECN account.
Among the MT4 ECN brokers, what would be your top choices for scalping. Also do the swiss brokers have any advantage over the others.

I would have to check about Dukascopy's MT4.
Regardless the platform, I would scalp with Dukascopy and also (I never tried but would be interested to test) Broco.
At the moment, Swiss brokers have no major advantages over other brokers which are properly regulated in their countries.
But to continue dealing as a Swiss broker nowadays companies have to apply for a banking license.
When we have all applications satisfied for brokers who applied for a license, then such Swiss Forex brokers will have a distinctive advantage: you will receive a superior level of protection with a regulated Swiss bank.
Update: Dukascopy's platform is MT4 ECN.

varengold is an STP broker. they use a bridge built by roustech. I know this because i talked to they guys who run that company and thought they offered individual traders bridges but they only build them if you're a broker and varengold is one of their user of that bridge that is like Boston technologies

also, dukascopy offers a bank guarantee at 100k which is superior to most brokers out there. that means if they go under or away, your money is with a swiss bank in this case, not the broker i believe I heard normal mt4 accounts will be available in 3 weeks (hopefully they actually make the deadline) and minimum is either 5 or 10k. I'm thinking it is 10k

1,000 is 0.01 so that would make a micro lot not mini i think, mini is 10,000 so it would be seen s
as 0.10 ( micro accounts ) or 0.1 ( mini accounts ).But anyway if it's true it's a good news that they accept now mini account on Dukascopy but for now i'll give a chance to broco investor as i'm sick of DD brokers bullshit :)

Hi Olumide,
When a trading position, which runs without a stop loss, closes automatically, it means that your equity is dropped below the required margin and you have received a Margin call - in simple words, it is a liquidation of your trading position in order to prevent your account equity from dropping below $0 USD.
