Hi BG,

Looks like this site is not being updated as it should be.

Ok, from what I know so far for Demo Account Competition:

1) InstaForex: Weekly Competition for Demo Account. USD500, 400, 300, 200, & 100 real money trading account.
They have various Weekly & Monthly competitions for Live Accounts too.

2) ForInvest Group: Monthly Demo Account. First prize only: USD5k Live Trading account.
Also have monthly Live Account competitions too.

The Demo competitions is a very good indicator to see how we Newbies are pitted against the other Traders.

Hi Big,

Just an update on Demo Acc competition:

1) InstaForex (weekly contest 4-Jan to 10-Jan'2010): All Demo Account started wit h USD10,000.
Top 5 winners: USD13,127.43, 12,839.61, 12,834.95, 12,703.51, & 12,586.02
There is indication of the country of origin of competitors.
I came in 571 position with USD9,489.07 from a field of 696 competitors.
But then, a few hundred of the registered competitors didn’t trade at all with their account remaining at USD10k.
I am registered to try out the weekly competition again, and I think I should do better as I made too many wrong trades and had to sacrifice too many oped positions to limit my loss and also in order to trade as the compition limit us to 5 opened positions/trades at one time.

2) ForInvest Monthly Demo Acc contest (7-Dec'09 - 7-Jan'10): All Demo Account started wit h USD10,000.
Top two winning competitors: Indonesia with USD620,738.28 & 510,798.48
Third winner: Malaysia with USD167,630.00.
I am greatly impress that:
1st: Top 2 winners managed to increased their profits to over half million USD in 1 month trading.
2nd: Third winner competitor is a Female.
3rd: Top 3winning competitors beat competitors from more advanced countries the USA, UK, etc.

The other top 10 competitors also did well too.

I made a mistake in my earlier statment about ForInvest monthly competition as they have 3 top winners with prize of USD5, 4, & 3k each.

I have registered with ForInvest monthly competition, but have not received comfirmation from them of my participation even though i have already e-mailed them 3 times with my accounting number. The competion starts this monday 11/Jan/2010 until next month.

Ok, that's my "busy body" report for now.

Hi BG,

How is your trading at the start of the new year?

I don't know where to post this, but I guess you will find it anywhere.

I was at "Forex Peace Army" and came across this post.

"Free Forex Trading System: ForexGreenBack".
I went over to "ForexGreenBack" site and somewhere in all that "registration for free download, etc" was writteh: Download File; Code update: Discount when entire system is released.

I stopped short of downloading their offered "free" automated trading system as I know there is no free lunches.

Do you know or heard of this "free" automated trading system??

my trading is always very conservative and only manual.
You're right saying that there is no free launches. I haven't heard about the system anyway.

Only citizens of Turkey and Azerbaijan Republic are eligible to win the Real Trading Account as the main prize.
