Please include ForInvest Group for trading reviews.
I still cannot find out very much about them except at their web page listing them as :
"Swiss Financial Brokerage firm, Authorized and Regulated by the Federal Department of Finance under registration No. 4101572 and Business Authentication No. 02134/2003, located in Neuchâtel, Switzerland."
They apparently won an award "Forex Expo 2009 Awards", and is located at " ForInvest Group, Rue des Moulins, CH-2000 Neuchâtel, Switzerland".
I have just registered for their Demo Account yesterday (7/Jan/2010) and, being ECN broker, I find them to be the easiest to open and to closed trades.
Additionally, I have (or at least still trying) to get onto their monthly Demo Competition which offers USD5k first prize....matter of interest, last month's winner (Dec.'09-Jan.'10) tops with USD180,179.81 from starting account of USD10k. Not bad for 1 month trading.
Still, I would very much like to know more about ForInvest Group as they really got me interested to sign up LIVE with them.
Does anybody here in this Forum have any info to help me out???
Thanks and all the best!

Thank you for the spreads for One Financial. They've been added to spreads comparison table.

Hi,
First of all, congratulations!
You've proven that you're one of the best traders!
Now, this is what's really going on with prize money:
Now, this is what's really going on with prize money:
ForInvest Group requires you to pay governmental fees for the income you've earned. BUT, you cannot have those 2000 USD (...), until you complete trading 50 lots (the broker doesn't say what lots, but I assume it's most likely standard lots). That's a lot of trading to do.
Result: you can't withdraw the money, but you are asked to pay fees for the income...
It is up to you, if yo want to take this deal.
It would be fair if a broker simply deducts those fees from your prize money; or if you can be allowed to pay the fees after you get the right to withdraw prize money.

Hi,
BrokerGuru,
Thank you very much for your advised.
I will try to negotiate with broker to deduct those fees after I get the right to withdraw the prize.
I won the 3rd. place as well in Admiral Market competition (Tenggara Section). They just simply open live account and have the account be funded.
I really appreciate your advised.

Hi BG,
Ok, so ForInvest tells you 1 pip; yah?
On 14/Jan/2010 Market Watch 06.54, their Platform shows following tables:
I know I am still a novice, but if I subtract the difference between each spread I get 2.
As I have mentioned before, somehow I like ForInvest for the ease & speed of their platform execution time, but it seem to be quite a suspicious and mistery Forex Broker.
I really2 wish I can get more info about them. Any luck on your side BG?
Cheers & all the best!

Thank you RahmanSL,
With ForInvest we have a long story going over the spreads. They used to list 2 pips. Then when I talked to them, they offered 1 pip on both demo and live. After that I still didn't update their listing to 1 pip because no one except me was going to know about this 1 pip offer. Later ForInvest updated their website information to present condition, which now shows 1 pip, and also they have requested about updating their listing here, so I did.
Now, your report shows still 2 pips on demo.
My advice - you've seen enough of so called uncertainty around ForInvest, try another company with straight forward deals.

Yes indeed BG, when something is too good to be true, it probably is.
Still, their trading platform (well, at least on their Demo Platform) is really fast.
Oh well, I'll keep their platform for practice purposes and probably will sign up LIVE with Tadawul and/or FXopen and possibly InstaTrader.
I am on MBT Demo Platform, but I don't like their none hedging trading.
I still like EasyForex for their Oil offer, but their spread of at least 5 spreads on major currencies makes scalping difficult.
Alright BG, we'll leave ForInvest for now until someone in here or else where can impart more info on them.
Thanks for everything yah, and all the best.
Cheers!

Sorry as I don't know your name.
I think you are the Admin of this site.
I will introduce my self first, '
Mark Zwahlen- IT Manager
ForInvest Group
Well, Iam here as a friend has sent me a link to your advice not to deal with us.
Regarding Spreads, The administration decided to offer 1pip on USD pairs, 5pips on all other pairs... Just on Dec 23, 2009.
We started to apply such change for live accounts as of Jan 3, 2010, then for demo accounts 2 weeks later.
We sent you to update the listing as our Live Accounts were 1pip only, while we didnt update our website till we apply the new spread for all accounts, including Demo Accounts. I don't know what is the uncertainty about this!!
the uncertainty when you judged us depending on a misleading view of a demo trader,"Rahman SL".
One More thing, I read some post of a trader who won the 3rd prize of the 17th competition,
December 2009. I think, Azyaty, claims for scam, Ive checked with my colleague,The Mngr of Back Office,
and he confirmed to me that she got her prize, and she trades into the account right now!!
Where is the scam then??!!
Besides, our monthly competition has 3 winners as listed in our website, 5k-3k-2k, while your website shows one winner only!!,and regarding to "Rahman SL" , the prizes are, 5k-4k-3k!! Uncertainty again!!
Well, We are just a bit away to celebrate our 200K live accounts, only cause we built and maintained,
our company, ForInvest, on reputation, integrity and credibiliy in Forex Markets.
Iam really amazed of your website, and of all your efforts to offer such service, Its really great!
Wish you, personally, and your great website the best.

Dear Mr. BrokerGuru,
Its me again, Mark from ForInvest.
I've been surfing through your website, I found a post by "Rahman SL", assuming that he did contact us 3 or 4 times, and he got no response!!
I did contact our Executive Secretary regarding, and informed me that daily average emails received are
260,.. they reply to and follow up with all of them, the percentage is full 100%, and I have the daily report for the last 3 months as an approve.
Kindly note the competition subscription emails require no confirmation from us.. and its mentioned at "Competition Rules".
Now, Dear BrokerGuru;
to be fair, you would, if you please, contact " Rahman LS" for more details, like the email he wa sending to, the delivery reports of supposed emails, and if he failed to, then he is not allowed to post anything about ForInvest.
I think this will be fair.

Thank you, Mark
I'm not advising for or against ForInvest. My position to all Forex brokers is totally neutral.
I only collect facts which I'm able to get, therefore I truly appreciate your clarification about the spread change, although to me your steps and spread policy wasn't obvious till the very last moment. That's what I called uncertainty, because if I list 1 pip spread and the next day get several complaints from traders that it is, in fact, 2 pips etc etc, I'm becoming the one who's listing a wrong data. That's why, after going back and forth with 1-2-1-2 pips for a few times, I was no longer sure what to list. I hope you can understand me. Now everything got on its place, so I bring my apologizes for making a summary about uncertainty regarding ForInvest earlier.
The other point, about the competition, I believe I had the point there. Should the trader never got confused or scared about the conditions of receiving a prize, I would not need to go into details about making a fair transition of prize money. Now, as far as I know, the trader got his prize successfully, so I'm really glad the question was solved. I don't think I have the right to advise you anything, but somehow you should consider reassuring clients about the certainty of getting those prize money, so that they don't feel confused to the point that they would seek an advice elsewhere.
Regarding emails, I hope you'll be able to figure it out with RahmanSL either on our discussion pages or via email, I don't think I should be a middle man in it.
RahmanSL, like any other visitor of on our website can share his experience with brokers the way he feels about it. We don't encourage/discourage or ban users for the comments they make.
We have a number of Forex brokers who are actively involved in discussions to help clarify the questions traders may have.
All-in-all I think we have gotten matters straight for now, if you have any additional concerns, please kindly let me know.
