I accidentally came to this page while looking for reviews on Figfx.
To the last trader, as far as I can see, your best defense is Making It Public, since Figfx is non-regulated to my knowledge.

So, if you work on submitting reviews to as many websites as you can revealing the situation, it may actually make your broker change their mind about locking your money (make sure you inform your broker about your reviews).. Good luck!

hi my name is cvs kumari iam from india i opened a trading account with figfx bearing account no 133053 in the month of november 2010 initially i invested 200usd which i lost in trading and then i invest 600usd and out of that investment i withdrew 600usd last month and today i withdrew another 600usd and now suddenly i received a email from them saying my account is terminated as i have not sent the signed terms of agreement. and i do not understand when i received email from them that my account is fully verified. they terminate my account now and that too after 2 month of trading. if they had to terminate the account they should have done after 7 days of account opening. not when i request withdrawal. i had 1000usd in the account and now they are saying to send the signed documents again and invest again and trade again.

now i recd two mails

This has absolutely nothing to do with verification. This is a mandatory requirement by the TOS that it seems you did not read.
I am sorry, but this case is now over. Please, stop submitting tickets or I will have to also ban your support portal account.

Please note This is an offshore Broker and has no NFA license or legitimate Office in US. They are not an NDD or ECN, they exactly what most fx brokers are a market maker. Also Note that any broker who has MT4 platform is most likely a Dealing desk broker - MT4 = MT4 BLACK office DEALING MANAGER TO OFFSET THEIR RISK THEY SEE YOUR ORDERS AND GIVE YOU THE PRICE AT REQUEST ON LOTS GREATER THEN 99.00 ANYTHING LESS WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY EXECUTED. THERE IS A LOT OF FALSE ADVERTISEMENT ON THIS SITE - THEY DO THIS TO GET US ACCOUNTS.

FigFx limits scalping! After two or three days of profitable trades I recieved the following:
This email is to inform you that your account has been disabled.
"Pip hunting" on our servers is not welcome.

I really used very short trades hunting down to 1 pip. But they did't state clearly it's prohibited! So I think you should remove that broker from those allowing scalping!

Could you please tell me why do you recommend www.figfx.com ? Now that they did what they did to me I searched on internet much more and it is obviously they are a forex scam.

I attached the Customer Service Agreement signed for opening the account. I think it is the most important part in this story. Because it shows their "good" intentions comparing to that: http://www.figfx.com/about/tos.aspx The very rude way that this "Javier" is talking to clients it is just an additional aspect that could count in a trial. I also want to tell you that they might be from Malaysia because of that >> http://www.figfxmalaysia.com  I also contacted the Malaysia police too. Anyway, their Customer Service Agreement has many bad clauses that would not stay in court in United States of America law or european law. I can assure you for that.

restrictions on loss and profit for MT4 is still confusing

pls mates, this is my first time of posting here though, i found out about this site after i was duped by www.figfx.com of my money. that broker is a big scam, although, after i reported them on forexpeacearmy, they responded and returned my deposited amount without the profits i made.

they will block your account the moment they realized you are a good trader and they notice you have started making profit.

i deposited 100usd and increased it to 430usd withing 3weeks, the following week which was the fourth week after deposit, i opened some positions and they were all in profit; they saw this and immediately closed the positions and blocked the account claiming that another person was using my IP to trade. it was a lie as i never share my pc with anybody.

this is just to let you all be aware that figfx is a scam although, forexpeacearmy made them return my initial deposit but others might no be that lucky. pls be aware...open account with only US based brokers...i think they are more secured.
