Deltastock's Level 2 trading should not be confused with Prime ECN trading similar to other brokers.

Despite "NO REQUOTES, NO DEALING DESK and NO SLIPPAGE when trading via the Level 2 quotes module" claim,
"Deltastock AD is the counterparty to all L2 trades" - don't miss this statement few paragraphs lower.

Here is a brief chat with Deltastock rep:

Dealer : Hello! How can I help you?

Guest : Hello, I'm reading L2 forex page, and can't understand next:
"There are NO REQUOTES, NO DEALING DESK and NO SLIPPAGE when trading via the Level 2 quotes module!"
and later... "Deltastock AD is the counterparty to all L2 trades."
Dealer : Yes that is correct

Guest : isn't no dealing desk supposed to not trade against its clients?
Dealer : In L2 the offers which You can see there are from Deltastock and its clients

Guest : so, what is the actual difference in trading with regular dealing desk vs L2?
Dealer : in regular trading You trade with fixed spread all the time
In L2 during normal market conditions the spread is much better but there is commission
For orders with trade quantities of 1000 to 10000 units a commission of 0.005% of the base currency of the traded currency pair will be charged; For orders with trade quantities greater than 10000 units a commission of 0.003% of the base currency of traded currency pair will be charged.
Usually even with the commission if You trade with L2 You will get a better price

Guest : any other main differences in dd vs L2 ?
Dealer : You must be aware that during news releases liquidity is not as usual and the spread may widen in L2

Guest : that's useful. thank you.
well, ok. If that's basically it, I'll go to continue the reading.
thank you for your support.

Dealer : You are welcome!
If you have further questions feel free to ask.
