They rejected my live account application because, without a scanner I pasted my signature on the pdf and although your couldn't see, it could be removed when it was moused over (I am such an idiot sometimes). Anyway I sent another one that didn't have that problem. Subsequently they rejected the application because they knew I had not actually signed it with a pen.

Fair enough.. I asked them to delete my identity documents on several occasions. Below is a couple of replys.

"After further guidance from our Compliance team we are advised that we are obligated to retain all such personal information, whether acted upon or not."

"It will remain on a system in case you wish to continue with your application on a later date."

How long would they like to keep my identity documents without and contrary to my consent?

This is very insecure when you think they have a copy of my signature, my bank account details, my drivers licence with its number and my date of birth, my middle name.

How many people work at alpari and have access to all of this information without me ever having an account.

All other brokers I have applied with assure me that identity documents are not kept if there is not a live account. Certainly they should warn people they are doing this as a practice.
